Bridge Northumberland is a voluntary programme to help people living in Northumberland who are out of work and aged 16+ to overcome barriers to training, education and work.

We help by giving you one to one support from a dedicated Bridge worker who’ll be with you every step of the way to improving your confidence, developing your skills and moving towards employment.
Our support is free and fully funded. The programme is completely voluntary and for anyone who is:

Your Bridge worker will create with you a personalised support package depending on your needs, taking realistic, manageable steps towards your development.
We’ll help you to build on your strengths and goals, using the skills and expertise of our charity partners.
The Bridge Northumberland is a partnership of charities, led by Northumberland County Council.
We are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and The European Social Fund.
Since 2018 we’ve successfully supported over 1,400 Northumberland residents to get a positive outcome.
