Our Partnership - Bridge Northumberland

Bridge Northumberland is a partnership programme, bringing together 6 voluntary and community organisations and led by Northumberland County Council, with a wealth of experience and knowledge in supporting the hardest to reach in Northumberland.

We are funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and The European Social Fund. Northumberland County Council is our lead partner.

Each partner brings unique support to help people to overcome barriers and achieve positive, life-changing outcomes.

Below you’ll find details of other services that may be useful and are delivered by our partner organisations.

Northumberland CVA

Offers the Bridge Connectors scheme, using existing beneficiaries who have experience of being involved in the programme to give one to one support to new beneficiaries.

Also provides the Supported Volunteering scheme, helping people get into volunteering with the support of a volunteer buddy.

Gives advice and a financial MOT to all Bridge participants.

Cygnus Support

Cygnus Support offers one to one therapeutic counselling, one to one coaching and group workshops to participants

Northern Learning Trust

Provides beneficiaries with one to one tuition to enable them to improve their skills in English and maths.

Community Action Northumberland

Supports residents in rural areas of Northumberland by running employment hubs, job searches, CVs and IT skills.

Provides IT skills assessments and digital skills training for all Bridge participants.
