What’s your role in a nutshell?

As Co-ordinator to support our team here at Cygnus; as Coach to work one to one with beneficiaries supporting them to create goals and taking steps to reach these; as Trainer to deliver workshops for beneficiaries to develop personal skills such as communication, problem solving and working with others.

Do you have a secret talent for anything?

I can still do the splits!

What’s the best part of your job?

Being there when something shifts for the beneficiary and change happens, it’s a powerful moment.

What do your colleagues say is your best quality?

My optimism.

What’s your favourite memory/proudest memory?

I had a memorable 50th Birthday party with family and friends, which was awesome.

What’s your favourite food?

Anything my children make for me, even if it is inedible! My colleagues will tell you I have an iron constitution.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

Walking my dog in the local countryside with family.  I’ve recently joined a run-walk group and enjoy that too.

What advice do you have for people considering joining the programme?

Take the first step and get in touch – we’ll help you from there.
